Industrial Visits


The Department of MBA organized an industrial visit to Anmol Industries Ltd., Greater Noida on 11.10.19 for its students with an aim to provide them   an insight into internal working strategy of the company and to gain practical exposure. Professor Rashmi Kaushik and Professor Sachin Sinha accompanied the students during the visit. The students learnt about functioning, assembly, coordination, departmentalization, production, packaging and labeling of the manufacturing plant. Overall, it was a good experience and students enjoyed a lot during the visit.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an industrial visit to Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. Sahibabad for B. Tech second year students on 18-09-2019. Bisleri International sells bottled water and manufactures brands like Bisleri Mineral Water, Bisleri Vedica Natural Mountain Water, Bisleri Fonzo - a carbonated mango-flavored drink and Bisleri Club Soda.  55 students along with two faculty coordinators with students. At the end of the visit, Bisleri team felicitated our students with a certificate and a goody bag.

The Coordinators of the industrial visit, Mr. Aditya Dayal Tyagi and Mr. Vijay Shukla were present along with the students during the visit, where they had a meeting with HR and front office executives. They summarized about the products and their production processes. After interaction with the HR and front office executives, students visited the plant. Students observed the overall production and process involved in the production, sensors used, automation and technologies used. Plant visit was coordinated by quality executive from Bisleri. There was a query session after plant visit in which Bisleri team answered the queries 

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities organized an industrial visit to Mother Dairy Plant, well known for  milk and milk-based products, at Patparganj, New Delhi for B. Tech first year students. During the visit, the students were explained every process right from milk collection to packaging of different milk products through video streaming. After the presentation, they visited the plant. They became familiar with the various processes of pasteurization of milk. Students also visited the chemical section, where they observed the process to check adulteration of milk. The coordinator of the official trip Dr. P. C. Jha, along with Mr. Surinder Singh and Mr. Neeraj Tripathi, was present along with the students during the visit.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an industrial visit to Carlsberg India Pvt. Ltd., Dharuhera for B. Tech Final year students. The company manufactures two popular brands of beer.  The students had an interactive session with the HR Head who explained them about the products and their production processes. After the interaction with the HR head, the students visited the plant. They observed how the heating of rice, malt and water through the boilers produced a slurry paste. After this the slurry paste had to be refined and left for eight days for fermentation to take place. After the fermentation, yeast had to be mixed with it to manufacture alcohol. Finally the packaging took place in bottles and cans. Students visited the product selection, process and inspection departments too. They observed the functioning of boilers, compressors and condensers. Further, they visited testing and quality control department. They got the information about the testing and quality standard of the company. The coordinators of the industrial visit Mr. Rohan Srivastava, Mr. Chetan Dixit and Ms. Preeti Singh were present along with the students during the visit.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an industrial visit to National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, Faridabad for its students. The main objective of the visit was to show the students the various processes involved in operation and maintenance of power stations and all other aspects of electrical energy systems including transmission, sub-transmission and distribution. The students gained some important insights through an interaction session by Ms. Vatsala Sharma (Deputy Director, NPTI Faridabad) and Mr. Mahendra Singh (Assistant Director, NPTI Faridabad). They discussed about the history and main objectives of NPTI. NPTI functions as a national organisation for training in the fields of (a) operation and maintenance of power stations. (b) all other aspects of electrical energy systems including transmission, sub-transmission and distribution. It acts as an apex body for initiating and coordinating training programmes in the power sector in the country. It also runs training institutes for engineers, operators, technicians and other personnel of power sector.
