Corporate Resource Center shoulders the responsibility of organizing On-Campus interviews for student placements by coordinating with top companies across all industries.
Practices
CRC organizes corporate guest lectures to abreast the students about the emerging & latest technologies & expectation of industry from academia.
Milestones
CRC organized 200+ company visits in 2022-23 and extended 310+ job offers to our students. The list of companies includes industry leaders such as TCS, NIIT Technologies (Coforge), Amazon, Juspay, Hashedin-Deloitte, TCS, NCR Corporation, Ultratech Cement, Nagarro, ConsultAdd, Commvault, Manikarna Power, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, DeltaX, Altimetrik india ,Wipro, Accenture, Byju’s, ICICI Bank, IDFC first Bank, VVDN Technologies, Zycus.
CRC also encompasses a Student Placement Committee known (Placecom). Such active participation from students from across all branches ensures a more involved and student-centric placement process. We are also keen in giving company specific training for premier companies for which as a result we have good conversations every year. These innovative initiatives make ITS the best placement college in AKTU and one of the best engineering college in UP 2023.

CRC Skill Development
Technical Skills Development
CRC team works closely with Personality Development Team which conducts Aptitude & Reasoning classes as well as regular assessment tests for students right from their early college life. The output of this program can be seen in the amazing performance shown by ITS students in various aptitude oriented tests.
Soft Skills Development
The Personality Development Team also conducts Soft Skills training with regular evaluations for students from the first year itself. This includes working on communication skills, dialects, group discussions, verbal ability to name a few. This results is great Personal / HR interview in recruiting companies.

The commencement of these activities dates from 1st semester and continues till 8th semester. The activities are designed in such a way that the students would identify their own areas of improvement and enhance their abilities during the course of the program to make them more placeable and the same is monitored periodically by CRC.

The Department of Corporate Resource Center, ITS Engineering College organized seventh webinar in its LIVE webinar series which is trending in Social media. Most of students were curious on the topics and was a very motivating session. This is an effort to bring together corporate leaders, academicians and students to exchange and share their experiences on all aspects of Human Resource Management and recruitment for placement 2021.
The topic for this webinar was “Learn to Earn”. Our keynote speaker Mr. Singh narrated his journey from a graduate who took over entrepreneurship role to a successful person handling various leadership roles in some of the fortune 500 companies. This journey was a good combination of challenge to coordinate with the most effective elements of learning in the most efficient way. He stressed on the point that entrepreneurship revolves in solving the problem for the society. The discussion had three key elements of a successful learning and development approach which were contextual assessments, personalized learning and one-to-one coaching. Overall webinar was very interactive and our students thoroughly enjoyed and had some good question during Q&A sessions.

This webinar was wonderfully taken up by our Firechat Guest # 6 -Mr. Amitabh Chaturvedi, Senior HR Manager , PS QuickIT with enriched insight of future placements and industry expectation for 2021 placement. Mr. Chaturvedi is an expert in IT hiring with close to 19+ year of experience in some of the very prominent companies like T&M Service Consulting, Cshell Consulting Ltd, Interra Information Technologies, Oracel India and PS Quick IT. Currently PS QuickIT is one of the few organizations which are working on application supporting for Indian government in collecting COVID 19 case data.

And our keynote speaker Mr. Chaturvedi narrated his practical experience on how he analysis a fresher’s performance while they adapt to their new job role. He shared his view on future industry readiness. Even though there will be an impact of COVID19 in job now, we should be prepared for future pandemic job flow. Staying positive, enhancing IQ and willingness to learn and diverting the working style from “what to do?” to “Why to do?” will makes a huge difference in students approach towards future.
