Machine Learning
Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it learn for themselves.
The process of learning begins with observations or data, such as examples, direct experience, or instruction, in order to look for patterns in data and make better decisions in the future based on the examples that we provide. The primary aim is to allow the computers learn automatically without human intervention or assistance and adjust actions accordingly.
Internet of Things(IoT)
The Internet of Things, or IoT, refers to the billions of physical devices around the world that are now connected to the internet, all collecting and sharing data. Thanks to the arrival of super-cheap computer chips and the ubiquity of wireless networks, it's possible to turn anything, from something as small as a pill to something as big as , into a part of the IoT. Connecting up all these different objects and adding sensors to them adds a level of digital intelligence to devices that would be otherwise dumb, enabling them to communicate real-time data without involving a human being. The Internet of Things is making the fabric of the world around us smarter and more responsive, merging the digital and physical universe.
Instrumentation Technology
Instrumentation technology programs teach students about control processes and measurement functions of instrumentation devices. Instrument is a collection of Sensor, transducer, Measurement devices, DAQ processing unit and other peripherals. With the help of Instrumentation, we can design, test and develop new projects, hardware and testing platform. Today, instruments can be found in laboratories, refineries, factories and vehicles, as well as in everyday household use (e.g., sdetectors and tmoke hermostats).
Robotics & Automation Technology
As an Engineer, we always want to make the human life full of comforts and automation plays a key role in making it happen. Automation is the technology by which a process or procedure is performed with minimal human assistance. Thanks to latest inventions in the robotics field, world has made robots more user friendly, intelligent, and most importantly affordable. The benefits of robots have increased their flexibility with being capable of performing a variety of tasks and applications. They are more precise and consistent than human workers. Robots also allow for increased production and profit margin because they can complete tasks faster. Robots have the ability to work around the clock since they do not require vacations, sick days, or breaks. They also make fewer mistakes than humans, saving company’s time. Thanks to NI and e-Yantra COE the students have the opportunity to get their hands dirty by gaining hands on experience.
Integrated Circuit Design
Today is an era of Integrated circuits. Almost all of the electronic devices around us include at least one Integrated Circuit whether these are mobile phones, televisions, computers or electronic watches etc. The process of IC design can cover systems ranging from complex electronic systems all the way down to the individual transistors within an integrated circuit For simple circuits, the design process can often be done by one person without needing a planned or structured design process, but for more complex designs, teams of designers following a systematic approach with intelligently guided computer simulations are becoming increasingly common. There are three fields in circuit Design which are Analog Circuit Design, Digital Circuit Design, Mixed Circuit Design. These are lots of job opportunities for an IC design engineer for example Texas Instruments, Honeywell, Samsung, Phillips, LG are some of key recruiters of IC design engineers.
