Eligibility Criteria for Admissions

As per AKTU Norms, the criteria for admission is as follows:

• UPSEE Counseling A candidate will be required to qualify in engineering college entrance exams. As per AKTU norms, a candidate must have clearly passed 10+2 level examination from any recognized Board/ University in each compulsory subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) in aggregate in required three subjects. • Direct (Mgmt Quota/ Vacant seats) In case of Direct Admissions merit of candidates in qualifying examination in PCM is prepared. However, as per AKTU norms candidate must have clearly passed 10+2 level examination from any recognized Board/ University in each compulsory subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) in aggregate in required three subjects.

• UPSEE Counseling Candidates who have passed three years Engineering Diploma from a recognized Institution located in U.P with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) or Candidates who have passed three years B.Sc degree and passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject’ from any recognized University, securing 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering/ Technology. Candidate who have passed Btech entrance exam from other than Uttar Pradesh State and whose parents are not domicle of UP state are not eligible for direct admission to second year of B. Tech/ MCA (Lateral Entry). • Direct (Mgmt Quota/ Vacant seats) Based on the merit of candidates who have passed the qualifying examination securing minimum 45% (40% SC/ST).

• UPSEE Counseling Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized University securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate can apply for MBA. • Mgmt Quota/ Vacant seats Based on the merit of candidates who have passed the qualifying examination securing minimum 50% (45% SC/ST). However, preference is given to the qualified candidates of UPSEE/ CAT/ MAT (current year), who fulfill the eligibility.
